Whirlwind

I have finally gotten in touch with both surgeons and things seem to be moving... forward and yet backwards all at the same time.

I definitely do not have any vascular problem with my legs, but my orthopedic surgeon got back to me and said that since the only test results we have are my elevated pressures, he thinks it is reasonable to do compartment releases for Compartment Syndrome. Though he cannot guarantee it will work, but at this point I am willing to take that risk.

All of my symptoms continue to point to Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome, and it was only originally ruled out because they believed I had a vascular issue. So we are back to the first diagnosis right now.

I am meeting tomorrow (Jan. 16) with a Sports Medicine doctor to get a second opinion on my symptoms, and whether or not surgery is the best possibility at this point.

So 2013 might just be the year of good results and health... I will know a lot more tomorrow!

I continue to be blessed for all of the amazing doctors who have taken me on and have stuck with me through the last 6 months, doing everything they can to try and figure this all out and get me back on the field and track! I am especially blessed that I have the best of the best, and most renowned doctors helping me.
